Journal Report

The goal was to take an article and make it into a book that would look interesting enough to read. My article was titled "How Immersion, Emotion, Presence, and Workload Differ from Regular Video Game Mediums and Virtual Reality". The book takes an old 8 Bit Approach and uses different old 8-bit games to separate each part of the scientific process.



Each section is its own game. The introduction is Pong-themed, Methods is Diddy Kong, References is Centipede, etc. The production of this book was also hand done; the title and back cover are black ink printed on black matte paper for the shiny-hidden finish. The cover then wraps around and is attached so that the spiral binding of the book is hidden.
